We have pleasure in announcing the success of the "Social" held in the Dore School on Nov. 5th, in aid of the Belgian Soldiers. The sum realised amounted to £10 10s. 0d. After consultation with the authorities at the St. John’s Hospital, it was decided to devote the money to the provision of boots, slippers, gloves, and other little necessities. The sum of £5 2s. 4d. has already been spent, and the remainder, on the advice of the authorities, is held over to be used for similar purposes, as the necessity may arise.
