Meetings are held at 7.45pm on the first Tuesday of the month. Membership is open to all women both from the local churches and the wider community and visitors are always welcome. The Ladies’ Group provides a valuable link between church and the wider community welcoming women of all ages for fellowship, talks, presentations, visits out, social and occasional fundraising events at our monthly meetings. The society was founded in 1970 and produced their first show, HMS Pinafore, in 1972. Since then the society has gone from strength to strength.

The Society has a good reputation for producing high quality performances of G&S operettas and concerts of more varied music throughout the year. Their main production is in April at the University Drama Studio, Glossop Road, Sheffield.

They are always eager to welcome new members both singing and technical, so if you are over 16 years old and are interested in finding out more, please visit their Contact Information page and get in touch. They rehearse from September to April on Wednesday nights at Millhouses Methodist Church Hall on Millhouses Lane from 7:30-10:00pm.
